When you choose to pay by bank transfer, you can still benefit from travel insurance and purchase protection through your credit card issuer. Here's how it works.
What is credit card travel insurance?
Many credit card providers offer travel insurance and purchase protection as part of their cardholder benefits. This can cover trip cancellations, delays, lost baggage, and more — even if you don't pay for the booking directly with your credit card.
How can I activate it when paying by bank transfer?
During the payment step, you'll see an optional section called "Travel insurance & purchase protection". Simply:
- Tick the checkbox to enable it
- Select the passenger whose credit card you'd like to register from the dropdown
- Enter the last 4 digits of the credit card
That's all we need — no full card number, expiry date, or CVV is required.
What happens next?
Our team will use this information to register your booking with your card issuer's travel insurance programme. This is processed manually, so there's nothing else you need to do after submitting your payment proof.
Is my card information safe?
Absolutely. We only ask for the last 4 digits of your card number, which is not sensitive information. No charges will be made to your credit card — the actual payment is completed via bank transfer as usual.
Is this optional?
Yes, this is completely optional. If you prefer not to register your card details, simply leave the checkbox unticked and complete your bank transfer as normal.
